Les' celebration is Nashville's longest running Mardi Gras event at a single venue. The annual show is a highlight for Bayou Band fans, tourists, and Music City music lovers.
When Les was a broadcast news director in Mobile in the early 1980s, his reports on the Port City's Carnival were broadcast all along the Gulf Cost and worldwide on radio networks including NBC, CBS, Mutual Broadcasting System and the Voice of America.
"Now we have it in Nashville at the Bluebird, complete with beads, doubloons, moon pies, and music," Kerr said.
So dig out your mask and come to the Bluebird ready to party on Mardi Gras with Les Kerr & The Bayou Band!
